Scroll for! Collages of the different ways I’ve been wearing layers to work this winter + inspo from my Pinterest feed.
LAYERING WITH COLLARS TO MAKE MY NECK MORE INTERESTING

Layering collar pieces can create interesting moments around the neck, especially when you’re purposeful about color (a white crewneck t-shirt under a contrasting-color sweater, a button-up under a sweater of the same color).
LAYERING SKIRTS OVER JEANS TO WEAR SUMMER PIECES DURING WINTER

Wearing dresses and skirts over pants - particularly jeans - reminds me (fondly) of the Disney era during which I grew up. But what is most valuable about this trend is how it allows me to get more wear out of skirts and dresses that I’d usually store away during winter.
LAYERING TO CREATE SUIT-INSPIRED LOOKS

When you think about it, they’re one of the most classic examples of layering. A suit has so many levels, so its anatomy can be easily taken apart to create other outfits that have that masc edge, especially in an oversized fit (big YSL energy).
